A TRIBUTE TO DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA

This website is a tribute to the best soccer player of all time: Diego Armando Maradona.
Here you can find a lot of information about his extraordinary career, especially about his years in Naples, Italy (1984-1991), when he led the S.S.C.Napoli to win twice the Italian Serie A, once the Coppa Italia, the UEFA Cup and the Supercoppa Italiana.
Since I am from Naples, I think that on the internet there must be a tribute to Diego, the man who will always be remembered in the hearts of all the Neapolitans.

OJE VITA, OJE VITA MIA...

Maybe you are wondering what this song is. Well, it is a Neapolitan traditional song named " 'O surdato 'nnammurato" (the soldier in love) and it is one of the most popular songs of the Napoli supporters.
The chorus "Oje vita, oje vita mia, oje core 'e chistu core, si' stata 'o primm' ammore, 'o primmo e ll'ultimo sarraje pe' me" is very famous. (oh life, oh my life, oh heart of this heart, you have been my first love, the first and the last you will be for me...) was sung at the stadium when Maradona was playing for Napoli, it was like an anthem for those glory years. The Napoli fans still sing it today when the team wins.

The San Paolo stadium of Naples can hold up to 75,000 people. So far, this site has been visited by Hit Counter by Digits people since September 4, 1996. More than 30 times the stadium completely sold-out!
